The diversity of climates, soils, precipitation and sunlight constitute a favorable scenario for the cultivation of alternative products. These virtues give Peru different ecological levels, that with the help of our farmers we have been able to harvest such marvelous products as coffee and cocoa.

Both crops are oriented to satisfy the needs of present and future generations, guaranteeing profitability, health of the environment, social and economic equity. It is for this reason that Expoalimentaria from the hand of institutions such as DEVIDA, USAID and TECHNOSERVE maintain their work in the promotion of these alternative products; dedicating a space so that attendees can dialogue with the producers, observe the process of transformation and can also enjoy the different derivatives of international quality that are presented in the Pavilion.

Organizer of various tournaments, competitions, and coffee and barista events in Lima and provinces. He also serves as a Food Sensory Jury at private events and at the Expoalimentaria fair.


Promoter in the Specialization of Barismo and Roasting with the SCAE from 2012 to 2015. Teacher of Barism, Brew and Sensorial Analysis of A & B. in universities and institutes.


Volunteer Consultant in Sustainable Development of HORECA businesses.

 

   Marcos Blass

Barman by profession, Barista and Sommelier. With around 14 years of experience in the world of beverages. Co-founder of "Clase Maestra", it is the largest beverage event in South America.


His beginnings were in Zuka Lounge at Larco Mar, then he went through Bravo's Restobar where he learned other techniques to apply them in the mixology, he also worked at the Los Delfines hotel.


He currently works at La Destilería Bar (Miraflores). Represents different brands such as Brand Ambassador, such as Marie Brizard, Evian, Badoit, Vodka Titos, Fee brothers, among others. Thanks to his work as a Brand Ambassador he trains staff from different bars in Lima and provinces, and also trains students on the use of the brand in a bar.


He is also a consultant in the preparation of the menu of bars in Lima and provinces.

 

   Mauricio Rodriguez

MAURICIO RODRIGUEZ 200x270He has traveled through Peru, Colombia and Brazil visiting farms and studying coffee in every way. "Coffee is my love of life," says Mauricio.

 

He participated in the Copa Barista 2016 in Brazil, ranking 6th out of 32 participants. He also won the first place in the Peruvian Barista Championship.
